| Hi All,
Tonight is the last class for 2009 for the WCS. It will be at the Live
Lounge at the Kings Head tonight instead of its normal location.
Class starts at 9pm with opportunity for dancing till late.
I would like to thank Shane for taking the classes. He has done a great
job and we are very pleased that he has agreed to take the class next
year!

The sun is shining and the classes are taking a break for the July bank holiday weekend. Jive and Swing classes Tuesday and West Coast Swing on Wednesday will be off on 14th and 15th of July and will be back on the Tuesday 21st July and Wednesday 22nd July. More details below.

As I was saying at last week’s class the use of the City Church for the Wednesday night West Coast Swing classes has come to an end. We run the class as part of the Crescent Arts Centre dance program and their term has finished. The good news is that they will continue the class at An Droichead on the Ormeau Road for the summer and then return to the City Church in September when the Crescent Arts Centre term restarts.

We have had to move the Tuesday night Jive class to a new Venue. It appears that Hill's has stopped operating which left us without a venue on very short notice last week; apologies to those who turned up but hopefully you enjoyed your class in the Botanic Gardens.

The classes are suitable for complete beginners and you don't need a partner. An improvers' lindy hop class will run from 8.30pm.
