There is a new 8 week Swing and Jive course and Salsa Course starting at the Queens PEC tonight at 6:45pm and 8pm. PEC classes are starting back tonight!
6:45pm beginners salsa
8:00pm beginners jive and Lindy hop
This 9 week course is an ideal opportunity to learn a new dance or brush up on your dancing! PEC has great studios with mirrors and the atmosphere is the class is electric with a nice mix of people. Come along and have a laugh with us!

The sun is shining and the classes are taking a break for a few weeks. Salsa classes at the Kings Head and Lansdowne will be off for the next two weeks and will be back on the Monday 20th July and Tuesday 21st July. New beginners salsa classes will then start in August. More details below.

It has taken a bit of time coming, but Victoria and I have arranged a follow-on class for the beginners class at the PEC. We will be taking the improver’s class (you're moving up!) in the McHughes (basement) from next Tuesday 12th April at 8:30pm. McHugh's is a great location close to the Albert Clock & Custom House Square with parking in Toome Street.

New lindy, ECS and WCS swing class are starting this month. Frist up is WCS in Derry tonight and this week Sajles will kick of his ECS classes in McHughes. The following week there will be Lindy/Charleston classes and WSC classes starting in City Church.

For many of us, the festive season has ended and we are getting back to our regular actives. This includs our weekly salsa classes which restart this week
at the kings head (Monday), Landsdowne (Tuesday) and Bangor (Wednesday).

It's only a few days left before Tony Lara comes to Belfast.
We have had such a great response to the event that there is no more ticket left for workshop. But you don't have to be disappointed as there will be a Raggaeton class in La Tasca that evening and Tony will be DJing for a set.
We will also be running more workshops with guest teachers so watch this space.

For those who have completed the Jive/swing beginners course, and want to move on to the next level, there are follow up classes at Dukes starting this Tuesday (15th January) at 7pm. This year's salsa and swing/jive courses are coming to an end. They will restart Thursday 8th February.
Until the Salsa course restarts, we will be running a drop in improver's salsa class between 11th January to 1st February at 20.00-21.00.

just a quick note to let you know, that the PEC courses finish next week (14th December).
The start date of the new courses still have to be confirmed with the PEC, but hopefully there will be classes before the new semester, in January as well.

I'll be on holiday for the next few weeks so the PEC class will be canceled. It will restart in mid-September.
In September we will introduce a new class in Jive, Swing and Rock'n Roll. Also we will add bachata to the syllabus.

After the Easter break, the classes in the PEC will restart on 8th June. During the summer the class will start at 20.00 and work in a drop in system, so you do not have to pay in advance for the whole course. Everyone is welcome!
