| Hi All,
Hope everyone is enjoying the nice wet summer. The good news is that our salsa classes will be starting back soon. The intermediate La Reuda starts this Wednesday (4th Aug) in All Souls Church Hall on Elmwood Avenue, just off Lisburn Road. Class start back in the Kings Head Monday 9th August with beginner from 7pm and improver starting at 8:30 and on Tuesday 10th August, classes start back at the Lansdowne.

SalsaBelfast.com classes will be taking a summer break for the whole of July so this week will be the last week of Salsa classes in the King's Head (Monday), Lansdowne (Tuesday) and Elmwood Avenue (Wednesday). But the good news is, we will be back in August!

Just to let you know that due to double booking there will be no classes this coming Monday 19th of April in the Kings Head.
We will be back to normal on Monday the 26th with classes kicking off same as usual, beginners level 1 and 2 at 7 o'clock and improvers at 8.30pm.

As this is the bank holiday Easter weekend there will be no salsa classes this Monday in the King's Head (5th April) and Tuesday (6th April) in the Lansdowne. Salsa classes will be back to normal the following week.

We have invited Mario Leka (a.k.a. Sexy Mario) from Dublin to come up to Belfast and give two classes for Improvers and Intermediate dancers on Monday 15th June at the King's Head. From 8 to 9pm there will be an Improvers/Intermediate level bachata class and from 9 to 10pm there will be an Intermediate L.A. salsa class.

Jeff will be taking both beginners classes tonight for some Cha Cha (Absolute and level 2 beginners). Cha cha is another dance that is popular at salsa nights.
I've (richard) had to travel to the US at very short notice. I’ll be back next week and we’ll go back to our normal program of LA salsa ;)

New beginner’s classes will start at the King’s Head on Monday 6th Oct. With the new season of classes we want to make more time for the beginners to practice. To do this the beginner’s class to will now start at the earlier time of 7.00 pm make a 30 min slot between the beginner’s and improver’s for social/practice dancing. The improver / intermediate class will remain at 8:30 pm.

Last Monday's class at the King's Head was the last for this year. We will be back on Monday 21th January 2008.
We will introduce a new practice session before the beginners classes. This will be an informal time where people can practice and get help with there moves. It will also give us feedback on anything people are having problems with :)

It's only a few days left before Tony Lara comes to Belfast.
We have had such a great response to the event that there is no more ticket left for workshop. But you don't have to be disappointed as there will be a Raggaeton class in La Tasca that evening and Tony will be DJing for a set.

Due to the football world cup, the room in the King`s Head is used on the next three mondays. As this is quite a long break, and as most of you go on a holiday during the summer, we decided to have a summer break in the class for June, July and August, and restart it with renewed energy in September. The class has been great fun, we enjoyed it a lot.
